Caring for your pets, head to tail.
Hometown Vet brings the full range of compassionate companion-animal care — from first puppy visits to senior wellness — all under one roof, right here in Sterlington.
Preventive & Wellness Care
The best medicine is the kind that keeps your pet from needing it. Our wellness visits are unhurried, thorough, and tailored to every life stage — from an eight-week-old puppy's first exam to a senior cat's annual checkup. We'll build a preventive plan that fits your pet and your life.
- Wellness exams for every life stage
- Annual vaccinations
- Annual lab testing
- Parasite prevention (heartworm, fleas & ticks)
- Nutrition & weight guidance
Dentistry
Dental disease is one of the most common — and most overlooked — health problems in dogs and cats. A clean mouth isn't just about fresh breath; it protects the heart, kidneys, and liver too. We make oral health a priority at every visit and offer full dental care when needed.
- Professional dental cleanings
- Comprehensive oral exams
- Extractions & treatment of dental disease

- Call us right away if your pet needs to be seen
- Every concern taken seriously, no matter how small

Compassionate End-of-Life Care
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest things a family goes through. When that time comes, our only goal is to make it as peaceful and dignified as possible — for your pet, and for you.
